Elin Ditches Wedding Ring, Tiger’s #1 Staying Close

Just days ago, The Courtside Post reported that Tiger and wife Elin would be retreating to a private Island off the coast of Sweden in an effort to rebuild their marriage.  It looks like if that is the plan, it is on hold.  Signs that the couple wouldn’t be leaving were first discussed when Elin — who used to wear her wedding ring out in public all the time — was photographed, sans ring, as she gassed up her red SUV near her Windermere mansion in Florida.  And then, it was reported that Tiger has retreated to his yacht in Palm Beach.  Guess who else has temporarily migrated to Palm Beach? Alleged mistress #1, Rachel Uchitel.

Rachel Uchitel, the first woman romantically linked to Tiger Woods, told friends she had booked a plane ticket for last Friday from New York to West Palm Beach, just seven-and-a-half miles from the North Palm Beach marina where Woods’ yacht “Privacy” was docked over the weekend, and about 20 miles from his Jupiter Island home, Fox411.com has learned.  However, that is where the story ends for now.  Uchitel reportedly had the trip planned for months, as that is where her mother lives and she has been planning on spending the holidays with her.

As for where Tiger really is, TMZ.com reported that there was activity last night at his house in Windermere, Florida. Last night the driveway had all the cars — the red Buick, the black Escalade, and a maroon suburban. A van showed up and the driver delivered food. But no sign of Tiger.
