by Courtside Post Staff Contributor
Let’s be honest girls, we have teams we support and sports we love, but when it comes to watching the game, the attractive men can sometimes make a boring game worth watching. Especially when watching certain sports, the fit of a uniform can provide, well, a different perspective to the game. After reading Andy Jackson’s male version of “Four of the Hottest Athletes You Have Never Heard of!”, I bring you the female version of my favorite four hot athletes you probably have not have heard of.
1. Jenson Button
Jenson Button (30) is a British Formula One driver currently signed to McLaren Mercedes, and the reigning Formula One World Drivers’ Champion. In February 2009, following a management buyout of his Honda team, Button became the driver of a Mercedes-engine car. He went on to win six of the first seven races of the 2009 season, a record achieved by only two other drivers.
2. Tommy Haas
Thomas Mario Haas (31) is a German professional tennis player who reached a career-high ranking of World No.2 at one point. Early in his career, he made it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open, was a finalist in the Grand Slam Cup and a silver medalist in the Sydney Olympics.
Gavin Henson (28) is a Welsh rugby player who plays for the Ospreys and the Welsh national team. He was the International Rugby Board’s Young Player of the Year in 2001 and a part of the national team which attained Grand Slams in the Six Nations Championship in 2005 and 2008. He was named man of the match in the EDF cup Semi Final in 2008 when the Ospreys beat Saracens. He is also known for his relationship with singer Charlotte Church. He appears in advertisements for Nike pro, Matalan, and Brains brewery.
4. Juan Martin Hernandez
| Juan Martín Hernández (27) is an Argentine rugby player for the Argentinean national team. Hernández first debuted for Los Pumas against Paraguay in 2003. In 2007, Hernández was nominated by the International Rugby Board as one of the five nominees for the International Player of the Year award. Since his initial debut, he has received over 30 caps for his national team. |
