Peyton Manning Prepares for His Toughest “Situation” Yet

By Brittni Michaelis

According to several different news reports, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning are supposedly filming a Super Bowl ad together this week and it is set to air on Sunday.

Sorrentino, who is bringing the Jersey Shore to South Beach, tweeted that he is, “ON way to LA 2morr to do LEno n ELlen – then its off to MIami to shoot commercial w Peyton MAnning for SUperbowl.”

Say Hello to Peyton Manning's New Sidekick

Manning, arguably the classiest NFL player to ever strap on shoulder pads, is also a television star in his own right, being featured in memorable MasterCard and Direct TV ads, not to mention a hilarious performance on Saturday Night Live.  The dynamic between The Situation and Manning will be like fire and ice when the self-proclaimed Guido and his crew roll into South Beach.

MTV’s The Jersey Shore has become a hit all over the country, and the cast members have shot to fame as well.  BryanTheRegOps, an avid Huffington Post reader, commented, “Finally “The Situation” will be sharing a screen with someone worthy. Peyton is one lucky dude.”

Whether sarcasm or not, this just proves further how celebrated the Jersey Shore has become in our society when Peyton Manning, a ten time Pro Bowl selection, four time NFL MVP and Super Bowl winner, is lucky to be in the company of Mike “The Situation” Sorrention, a former exotic dancer turned MTV celebrity.
